Just interested to know if child "Margaret" (bc 1868) was more usually known as "Maggie".

Many thanks for the leads, which I have been following up, and found that Herbert George Major Tull   is Fanny  Elizabeth's son,  Fanny is the daughter of Margaret Stevenson, nee major.

Nothing is coming up for school records and the only reference to Maggie is the marriage.

have been going though the E/rolls and found that Margaret went by Maggie in them as well.
