Hi Shari,

Although rather later than you are looking for at present, I spotted lots of Whites in 1841 St Clements parish whilst looking for Hinkleys today.  Would they be of any use to you?

I also have Austen White (b 1795) as a son of Philip White and Bridget Luckett.  My family is linked through Philip's son Mark who married Sarah Carpenter in 1791.

Do you have any info on Philip White's parents/ grandparents?  I have researched quite a bit of the White family post 1800 if you're interested.

Regards
Abbey

Hi Shari.
Philip White (b 1763) was my 4x great grandfather through his son Mark (1789) and Mark's daughter Rachel (1828) who married William Baker (1834).  William was born in Battle but his father George (1794), a shoemaker, was born in Sandwich,Kent and the rest of the Bakers seem to hail from thereabouts.
I have traced most of Philip's descendants as far as the 1901 census but do not know his exact date of birth or the names &/or dates of birth of his parents.  Likewise I don't know much about Bridget Luckett.  I would be grateful for any help with these aspects.
Let me know if you want info on any of Philip's descendants.  He probably had siblings but, again, I don't know of them.
It's great to find someone else researching the Whites.  I've only just joined Rootschat but I'm already glad I did!!

Regards
Abbey
