ancesters birth and marrage i can not find.

Hello i have been struggling to find marrage and birth info for my grt grt grandparents since records did not start untill 1837 a freind has even searched for me but can not find anything.the name is william hook bn. 1809 seasalter kent married to sarah ann who. i woued love to find her maiden name.children are sarah ann/thomas/david/susannah/henry/john/alfred all born whitstable after1837. all living island wall seasalter parents william sarsh still there 1881 sarah died 1891age82.  Any help with william and sarah woued be very much apteciated thankyou liz.

any birth certificate of a child born after 1837 would give you Sarah Ann's name.
