If its a case of building the family from scratch the 1842 (Richmond) census gives you some clues as to the size of the Warren household at Sorell with 3 children being in residence -

Dear JIMNIC and others

Well well well if James is your 3rd grandpa we are related as he is my forebear who arrived in Tasmania in 1829 off the ship Mary. The Warren family in Australia has many branches but mine is straight line via the first son of each generation to James.

I have the whole history in Australia down to me and mine. I also have contact with Surrey History Centre where the original court records are.

I have yet to get the UK.

This is a great family history day. Lets get acquainted and start sharing. I will read all the posts asap on this site which I only discovered today
