OK so, first trip to the National Archives today. Secured the coveted Readers ticket from the Duty Archivist - a delightful lady who ensured every chance was afforded to this day being ordained a special one... and it was. My interest was the Poor Law Workhouses in South & North Dublin. I diligently viewed 18 months of early 1900 South Dublin indoor registers on micro-film and found one third of the Holy Grail for my father's tree.... such documentary order, such soul-searching success. Ms Duty Archivist, I thank you.
