Eleanor Hodson nee Atkinson

From an earlier topic I have now confirmed by the receipt of her marriage certificate that Eleanor Atkinson was indeed the first wife of my gg grandfather Nathan Hodson.However the next question posed is,what happened to Eleanor (b1840/1 Liverpool),her son Thomas (b1862 Southport) and her daughter Mary Ann (b1864 Southport)?...they all seem to disappear after 1864.

Can anyone help?

what happened to Eleanor (b1840/1 Liverpool),
her son Thomas (b1862 Southport) and her daughter Mary Ann (b1864 Southport)?...they all seem to disappear after 1864.

Was Nathan's father Miles?  Here's a Thomas with his grandparents on 1871 census

Cheers Radcliffe and Ladyhawk..I already had the marriage and the census...never thought that Thomas would be with grandparents.Elizabeth Alice Dutton was Nathan's second wife Dorothy Dutton's sister,thus  (Miles) Robert Hodson married his step aunt!

Cheers,I have Miles Robert right through to his death in 1928 together with his descendants,It's Eleanor,Thomas and Mary Ann that I'm struggling with....they just seem to disappear...very confused!

Do you think this might be Thomas? To confirm you would probably need to obtain his marriage certificate to see who his father is

That could be my Thomas,I suppose the marriage certificate would confirm it.

I'm not sure about the Ellen death,I've got a copy of Mary Ann's baptism at Christchurch on the 27th November 1854...

I also have (Miles) Robert as Robert at 36 Tulketh Street in 1871 as a grandson to I think Robert Sowerby (who's also on the 1861 census at no45)...no Eleanor though

I don't seem to have any connection with the other family in Tulketh Street...mind you I seem to find other Hodson branches quite at random..
