Can some kindly person please look up the St Andrews Parish Church, Chippenham Parish Records for 1928 for the marriage of the surname CRANE for me please?

Freebmd has no Crane marriage in 1928 in Wiltshire

Hi Carole, thanks for your reply. I believed that Freebmd didn't perhaps cover every marriage and the parish records would be more comprehensive?

Freebmd coverage for that period is 99.9%

To lookup the marriage you have to narrow the date down by providing details of the quarter in which it took place - otherwise it means checking 12mths marriages.

That's why I looked for it on freebmd and couldn't find it in 1928.  If you have the christian name of Crane and who he or she married, you can check freebmd to verify the year and quarter

There were 14 Crane marriages in Wiltshire  listed between 1925-1930 but none were in the Chippenham Registration District

There are no Crane births in Chippenham 1928-1940

There was also a Chippenham in Cambridgeshire which came under Newmarket RD for that period but there were no Crane marriages there in that period
