this is a new avenue for me as I seek out possible RC burials
Bridget POWELL (nee McGrath) died on 29 Dec 1877 at Clock Face, Bold, Lancashire
cause stated as natural - found dead in bed early in morning severe cold abt 3 weeks
she was aged "about 34 years"
an inquest was held on 01st January 1878 and death registered on 02nd January 1878
would she have been buried in a church grounds or a cemetery at that time
any RC help most welcome - thank you

PS
married in 1862 in Rainhill to James Powell - her father listed as Edward McGrath (labourer)
and in 1871 listed as living at Bold, Lancashire, England on Warrington Road (next to the Bushels Farm entry)
thanks

St Anne and Blessed Dominic at Sutton was opened in 1852 according to GENUKI. Just along the road from Bold and Clock Face.
It has a graveyard, but no mention of burial registers is shown.
Looking at ALSTON in south Ribble area, ALSTEAD and DONBAVAND/DUNBABIN etc. everywhere, HOWCROFT and MARSH in Bolton and Westhoughton, PICKERING in the Whitehaven area.
