Does anyone know tge name of the records were the undertaker does the burial and the state pays for the funersl were and what is the name of the records called council burial records

There are public burials and pauper burials

As I understand it - if the family could pay the undertaker but could not afford to buy a grave - the council would provide that facility but there would be more than one person in the same grave.  This is a public burial.

If the deceased or any surviving family members were destitute - then the council would pay for all necessary aspects of the funeral.  This is a pauper burial

If so - what was the persons name - when did they die and where?

hI looking for any help I can get, My gran was born 1884 43 Struthers st  Glasgow,
she died in 1953 and the place Camlachie came up , is there any way I could find out if she was buried there..........

Have you tried https://www.deceasedonline.com/

Or emailing the local council's cemetery dept,or googling to see if there are any relevant churches on that area,if they have an email address you could check to see if she's buried there.

Her name would be useful,then if anyone has relevant burial records they may find her for you.

Her name was Elizabeth Mulvey born 1884 died 1953...

The above website is showing one match to her name and death year but there was an Elizabeth J Mulvey died in Hartlepool in 1953 so it may possibly be the wrong one

Have you downloaded a copy of her death cert from Scotlands People as it will tell you her address at the time of death which may help with burial info
