grandmother look please

hi coud you please help with grand parents please. her name may Gertrude davies his name frank douglas I think they got married about 1940s they lived 12 Morton st, Blackburn lancs. they had a daughter called may,born around 1940 please help  thank you mccue.

The May Gertrude born in 1940,
is she still alive,if so it may be best to remove her name from the boards,

I have found this marriage but it might not be correct if the daughter wasn't born until 1940 ???

Ada Douglas married Frank Davies in 1912 Blackburn Methodist Church (Altom Street)

Ignore this, you want Frank Douglas not Davies ;D

May I suggest you buy the ladies birth certificate and then you can get started ,it will have her mothers maidan name on it as well as her residence ,or have you already purchased it,

Frank appears to marry a Nellie Hartley in 1934 at St Marks Witton, Blackburn.  Only one child born in 1937.
