I am looking for the birth of Susan Ann Edmonds/Edmunds born about 1821 to John and Ann Edmonds in Overstratton South Petherton Somerset,England. and also her marriage to John Elliott
they arrived in Australia in 1853 on the ship Malvina with their four children. George 8 yrs,Mary 6 yrs,Ann 4 yrs and Emily 2 yrs. any help would be appreciated

Thank's for the information, that's fantastic, did you notice if John and Ann Edmonds had any other children I know they had a son William who came to Australia on the same ship as Susan

Freereg has the birthdate of Emily ELLIOTT (who was on the ship but not born in time for the census) as 6 July 1851 and her baptism date as 10 August 1851.

FreeReg has a marriage for John and Ann EDMONDS at South Petherton, 15 September 1818.

There is a marriage in 1827 for a John EDMONDS, widower, to Mary STONE (no details given for her)

Did John ELLIOTT die in Australia as there are a number of public trees which suggest that Susan later married George KINGDOM in NSW?

There is a record of John Elliot dying in a Parramatta Lunatic Asylum on the 15th of April 1855 although the dates tie in, there is no real evidence that it is my John.and yes Susan married George Kingdom in Armidale NSW.

I was in the South Petherton area just last month as my niece has a house at Stoke sub Hamdon which is only 3 miles away from Over Stratton.  It is beautiful country-side, still very rural.
