Sorry, also discovered that Greers , attended Claremont and lived in Cedar Street from about 1919. So don't think she is connected to Andrew Stewart.

Sandra, how can I ever thank you enough for being so kind and giving of your time to help me search? Thank you, thank you, thank you! I hadn't logged in for a couple days and just saw your last several posts.  I'm sad to see that the Violet Greer lead did not pan out - but you have provided me with another lead in Robert Mason, as I recognize him from a census that I believe belongs to my Elizabeth Mason.  So yes, I do believe she was the one who witnessed the marriage!!!! Wow!! It is very hard to conduct searches from out of the country as it can get very expensive and confusing.  Now I will begin searching for more information on Robert, his wife and the other witness. As for the other marriage certificate you posted, I'm pretty sure that is the Rebecca and James I am looking for! I'm so happy. Your help is very much appreciated!

Rebecca Mason (Warden) was my Grandmother. She passed away on 31 October 1971. My mother is Ruby McClay (nee Warden), who is still with us at 95 and was James Warden and Rebecca Warden's firstborn (6th September 1919) My mother's siblings, Rita, Eileen, Billy have all passed away but she has one sister, May and one brother Jim who are still with us
