I hadn't logged in for a couple days and just saw your last several posts. I'm sad to see that the Violet Greer lead did not pan out - but you have provided me with another lead in Robert Mason, as I recognize him from a census that I believe belongs to my Elizabeth Mason. So yes, I do believe she was the one who witnessed the marriage!!!! Wow!! It is very hard to conduct searches from out of the country as it can get very expensive and confusing. Now I will begin searching for more information on Robert, his wife and the other witness. As for the other marriage certificate you posted, I'm pretty sure that is the Rebecca and James I am looking for! I'm so happy. Your help is very much appreciated!
