I have a family (Dwyer) giving their address in the 1891 census as 'Masonic Building, St Mary Pembroke, Pembrokeshire'. Not found anything on this building online. Does it ring a bell with anyone?
They are a Military family and the various children have been born Cape Town SA, Dublin, Kent, Malta, Belfast and the last 2 in Newport and Swansea. But wondering if there is any significance to the above address and especially the Masonic' word. Was it something to do with the military or did something else bring them to Wales. Not sure if/when the father left the army but he died the following year in 1892, and by the 1901 census they are in Swansea.
cheers for any help
