Glass Churchyard, near Torry
« on: Friday 28 June 13 20:22 BST (UK) »
Hi wonder if anyone with local knowledge could help?  I will be visiting the area shortly for ancestry research and would like to visit the Parish of Glass Churchyard.  I believe the church is no longer and was sold in 2007 and is probably a house now but would like to know if it is still possible to go around the churchyard to see if I can find any ancestors graves who I know to be laid to rest here.

Many thanks

Brilliant, Malky, thank you, you also answered another of my questions when you sent the link for the map of the area as found a couple of farms I was also looking for just North of the church.  Thank you :)

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
