I have  a relative on the 1861 census and for the life of me I can't translate his occupation.  I have copied and pasted all the legible information from my Ancestry.com account, which I hope is enough to help you find the original document.  On the 1881 census, he is recorded as being a Gunmaker at the Royal Small Arms Factory in Edmonton, if this is any help!!
