Philip and Sophia Parker of Chew Magna - 1841 Census

I am looking for the 1841 Census record for Philip Parker and his wife Sophia; I located Philip in the 1851 Census in which is stated he was born in Old Sodbury, Gloucestershire and his age was 76 [born abt 1775]; Sophia was born 1779 in Bristol, Gloucester

The info on the 1851 census is:

The National Probate Calendar has the following entry for Philip Parker:

Letters of administration (with the will annexed) for the estate of Philip Parker late of Chew Magna, deceased, gentleman who died on 6 March 1859 at Chew Magna granted at Wells to Sophia Harford Adlam (wife of William Adlam of Chew Magna, esquire) the only child of the deceased.

You can apply for a copy of the documents quoting the significant information from the calendar as identification.

It only appears to be effortless when you have some idea what you are doing!!

For births, marriages & deaths, I use FreeBMD.
For censuses I tend to use Ancestry - but FindMyPast is good, too!
