Hi ozranga, everyone

First time poster. A 3 x great grandfather, James Masterson is buried in grave 1120 in Ford Cemetery. He died in 1876.

I'm not actually too sure what his connection to Liverpool was. His wife (possibly ex wife) also died in Liverpool in 1890. She had the surname Johnson at that point. She wasn't living with James in Liverpool prior to his death - she was in Canada. She's interred in the Catacombs in Anfield. Although 'temporarily' according to the records.

Anyway, the Hannah Jane info is a digression (just adding for context) . I'd be interested to know if James' grave is marked and if anyone else is buried there. That might shed light on the Liverpool connection. Thank you very much.

Hi, can you please tell me the plot details of James and Sarah McCourt, who died 29th January 1973 in South Africa but were buried in YewTree Cemetery in February 1973 (If it helps, their funeral announcements appeared in the Liverpool Echo on the 8th of February, saying burial was the next Monday.). And can you also check for me to see if there is a Sarah Gill who died in 1989, aged 72, buried in Yew Tee?

Hi, James's grave is in a public section, SJ. There are no headstones on this section,  and there will be multiple random interments in the same plot.

CLonross, welcome to the forum.
As John said, SJ 1111 is a public grave, no headstones & unlikely to have family members together.
He is on the index as James Marterson, same details as you have.
