Thanks a million for that info, Marieene. I recognise most of the other names immediately, but wasn't sure of all dates of death and who was buried in this grave. Ellen King is a complete mystery, so needs investigating.

Family Believe they found on Findagrave a Burial in Ford Cemetery for a Mary Dalzell nee Ball aged 43 died in March Quarter 1901 but we can't find a Death Registration GRO index
What do the Burial Records for Ford say for her Burial Please ?

not only does the F-A-G entry not give a gravestone photo, or section and plot no, nor does the database of burials of Ford Cemetery come up with a burial of a Mary Dal* in 1901
What do these people know about the Mary Dalzell they are looking for? (which really belongs in the main Liverpool board rather than asking in this thread)

Hi
Portion AS in Ford Cemetery is the first portion on the right hand side of the entrance.
There is no record of a Mary Dalzell in 1901, or any similar spelling of the surname.
Always bear in mind that the photographers/researchers for Findagrave have no knowledge of the people/names they are looking at; they are volunteers trying to assist others with the best of intentions but I have seen some shockers!.

HI I am trying to locate the grave of Margaret Dealtrey ( nee Walsh) my Dad's Grandmother she died 1935 and buried at Ford Cemetery on 19th Sep 1935 the plot being listed as SV at the top of the sheet which I think was a public Grave? Does this mean no headstones? We are trying to work out if her daughter Kathleen Dealtrey died  June 1939 in Ormskirk is also buried there as we can't locate where she was buried.

Hi,
I am so sorry but I can't find anyone with that surname on my database. I tried all the variations I could think of in case of a transcription error, with no luck.
If you can give me some more information I'll have another go.
SV is a public section so there won't be headstones.

I can't find an entry in the burials registers of Ford for Dealtrey (or variants)

there are these notices in the old newspapers though which suggests they were both buried at Saints Peter & Paul Rc churchyard, Crosby?
