there are lots of Kearns, and 25 Thomas Kearns, so if you can narrow it down a bit it will help.
If you have a small time frame it will help.Look for when he was last alive & go from there, newspaper notices, census records etc.
My database is on microfiche in two parts; an index & then the graves, so it's not a case of "ctrl F".
With no grave location If i find them in the index I then go to the grave to find the occupants, so it can be a bit of a pain.
