I have been asked to look for a grave in Ford cemetery at 2B 312. I cannot see this on a map, does it exist and is it public? Burial is Bridget Ewan (Smith) 1st Jan 1958
Took me a while but eventually found it.

After summer late light digging I have come to the conclusion I'll need to visit to try and see if there is an inscription, might help explain the link.

Hi Jon,
Back to basics & track each one - you'll make the link.
If you make another post in the Lancashire page, someone may be able to tell you if there is a headstone

Thank you I spotted that last night, I presume the Mary who was on the title deed is not the lady who is buried there, more.

I am on a long long trail of trying to trace my grandfather Joseph Harold Byrne born in 1914, so far we have been unable to find a death date for him. The last photo and contact known is around 1960.

He was born in Liverpool and spent most of his life there when he was not at sea untill he moved to Manchester in the 1950s.

We have discovered so much including photos and story's that where not known of, but we still have not found his death, this one slipped under the radar as the death occurred in Birmingham and for a man who spent all his life working on or by the sea it would seem like a strange place to be. But now the cemetery records are available this has become a potential if only slight.

More digging required

Yes the basics are the important thing, I have been on this trail for almost 10 years to the day.

Hi Marienne, many thanks as ever for going the extra mile. I thought I was going daft as I know that Ford has Sections 1A and 2A but never came across 2B.

Best wishes, John
