Hi Marienne,
When you have time could you please tell me who is in H438. I have Charles McArdle  ex Wellington Rd New Brighton buried 1906 and Elizabeth McArdle buried 1911 in there. Hoping to find more McArdles.Thanks in advance.

H438 is very interesting indeed, I can see you being very busy!
Deedholder is Charles McArdle, but it doesn't specify which one.
In the grave are - are you ready?
McArdle. Charles died Wellington Rd New Brighton age 73. interred 20/1/1906
  "          Elizabeth, d Tudor Lodge Ulet(sic) Rd New Brighton, age 74. int 2/10/1911
   "         Charles, died New York Hospital New York age 24, int 27/1/1903
    "        Veronica Mary, died 24 Marmaduke St age 49, int 20/8/1918
Barbara Mary Fox, died Bruges Belgium age 10 years, int 19/8/1924

Thankyou so much. Charles jnr and Veronica were children of Charles and Elizabeth McArdle.Barbara Fox was a grandaughter. I'm curious as to how bodies were transported in those days,especially from America. I wonder whether he was cremated?Although I think unlikely as it would have been against their  beliefs.You have been a great help and given me a lot to think about.

Could you check plot JL 263 at Ford please?  I have Maria Nolan and Elizabeth Nolan (both died 1933) but wondered if there is anyone else there?
