Did anyone get you a photo? I don't normally do photo requests as I don't go to Ford often as it's quite a distance away. Next time I go I'll look for it. I have the grave details from this thread. If anyone lives nearer and can take a photo sooner let us all know so we know this request is answered.

Hi I am looking for grave details Ford Cemetery. Mary Schambury ( this was error surname was Schamburg) but registered as Schambury. Mary died age 39 GRO details MQ Vol 8b Page 176. Mary born approx 1825 Burial 10/03/1864 Home address 41 Shaws Alley Liverpool.

I thought you had this burial record? If so look at the last column the grave is D101 a public grave there are other people on the page who were buried in the same grave so this tells us that it's definitely a public grave not a private plot.

Thanks Blue.I had death record but not burial/grave details. I have grave details for her husband Francis Schamburg SJ 194 I guess this is a public grave also.

Yes SJ is public too. The D101 may actually be AD there is some confusion over some sections. There are online sites with maps and usage guides that can be useful. The burial records for Ford are on Ancestry and can be accessed from a PC free at any Liverpool library. You can usually tell the private from public burials as more than one burial on the page will go in a public grave. Ancestry don't have the private plot contents records that Ozranga has. Ozranga provides a great service by being able to do look-ups of the private plot records. All these records are also accessible at the Liverpool Record Office.
