There must be mistakes on those funeral records Ford has been put down as the place of burial when it should have been another cemetery such as Anfield.

I think it will be Anfield. Unfortunately the free online records below are not yet up to 1879 but information for that year will be added in the future. Anfield has various RC sections:-

You could try contacting the Liverpool Record Office using the form below and ask them to look-up the burial of Charles Davies (include his address), giving them the date of death & burial date, say to look-up at Anfield Cemetery. They will sometimes do look-ups if they don't take long:-

New today. I'm trying to find out who else was buried in my Grandmother's grave in Yew Tree cemetery. Grave 2D441. Agnes Short. She died on 14 February 1998. I think my Grandfather was buried there to in  April 1950. Albert Short. Is anyone able to point me in the right direction to find out who owns the grave and who else is buried there? Thank you. Emma.

Hi Emma,
welcome to the forum
Agnes was the deedholder of the grave, and the only other burial therein is Albert Short, who died at  8 Layford Close L36 aged 48 years. interred on 13 April 1950.
Agnes's burial was after the close off date of the records I have.

Hi everyone, After the help you gave me a few weeks ago looking for another Gerrard ancestor. I believe William Gerrard died 26th August 1891 and is buried at Ford Plot B 408. would there be any information if his wife is also buried with him. Barbara Gerrard born 23rd December 1861, died possibly 1946. If they are there, is there a birth year for William, a death date for Barbara, any information as to a Grave Deed. Many thanks for any help

Hi,
William Gerrard in ford BZ 408 died at the Northern Hospital L3, aged 31 years, interred on 26/8/1891.
The only Barbara Gerrard/Gerard in Ford/Yew Tree  was aged 3 years, & was buried on 15/4/1922, so cannot be yours.
Just a thought - As William was only 31 years old when he died, could his wife Barbara have re-married?

Hi, thanks very much for that, I don't believe Barbara remarried as I've found a death (for what I believe) is her in 1946. I'll email the Bootle Cemetery, and see if I can find anything there. Thanks again for your help
