Thanks Marienne for looking and finding James Fanning's grave. The one you found is the right one as his address was on the 1911 census.
Could you see if there are any other Fannings in Ford Cemetery for me please? I know he had three infant children who died around 1903 and two of them were buried in Ford. I am also still looking for his wife Ellen's grave. regards Kathleen Fanning

Hi Kathleen,
There are over 100 Fannings in Ford cemetery, so I really need a bit more to do a search, such as
Ellen's date of death, and childrens names.
cheers

Oops!  ;)

I think the boys names were William and Joseph Fanning, twins, born and died in 1903 and James Patrick born 1905 and died 1906. Very sad.

Only one child survived, William Joseph Fanning born 1907 and he died 1972 in Liverpool as did his wife Diana Walsh who died in 1984.
Their son James Kevin Fanning died in 2006 in Liverpool also. They may well all be buried in Ford Cemetery.

As for Ellen Fanning, the wife of James Joseph who died in 1912, I have very little. She was born in Newry Co Down Ireland about 1874. That is all I know. When her husband died she was only 38 so she may have remarried.

regards and many thanks

Kathleen

Hi Kathleen,
This is what I found:
X11 public. Joseph Fanning died 26 Elias St  age 1year interred 9/2/1903
M2006 Private, DeedHolder James Fanning (4a&1c)
James P Fanning died 72 St James Place L8 age 19months int 28/11/1906
Thomas Ryan died Lourdes Hospital, Paul St L8 age 59 int 6/11/1930
Ellen Ryan died 72 St James Pl age 85 int 15/4/1952
Cecilia Wills died 72 St James Pl L8 age 60yrs int 27/7/1962
Strangely there is no William buried 1903, or William Joseph & Diana, and 2006 is too late for the fiche, which go to 1989.
cheers
Marienne.
Could this be your Ellen marrried to Thomas Ryan??

Hello
It's been suggested I try this link to try and find the burial plot of my Auntie. She passed away 6th December 1965. I am 100% certain she is in the same plot as her parents  Yew Tree Cemetery grave 2D 291. Apparently Yew Tree's burial records ended in 1965. I'm hoping somebody on this link can give me the last piece of the jigsaw so to speak. My Aunties name is Joan Johnston(e)/Johnson, maiden name Handley. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Warm regards
Blue54
