Thank you.

I knew you records for Ford went to 1989 but was unsure if your records for Yewtree did, good to know.

My mum is wanting to visit her sister’s grave in Yewtree cemetery but we need help to locate it. She was buried as a baby in 1950 in an unmarked public grave plot number A1368. We have looked at the map but this plot number doesn’t seem to correspond to anything. Can anybody help us in pinpointing where this plot is located within the cemetery?

The general plan doesn't identify Section A (Public) but looking at an online usage guide there are a number of sections not identified so I think those sections have just been left off that plan and that the burial reference is correct. If you look at the plan and the site on Google there are spaces on one side of the cemetery (the Haydn Road side) that look like space for public burials. My guess would be that A (Public) would be near 1A, 2A, 3A & 4A.

There are earlier posts about this
https://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=651292.msg7121708#msg7121708

and the grave number was 1368 but there is no letter prefix, just the grave number. There's at least one other baby  buried in that grave the same day.

Yew Tree and Ford are managed by the Diocese someone there may be able to help with directions but I doubt if they can give you an exact location as its likely to be a grassed area and no markers.

Just to confirm the section is Public A. I don't have access to these records at the moment but a relative died and was buried at Yew Tree in early 1950 and I have the burial page. If you look at this extract you can see it says A for the public grave entries at the top and the extract includes another burial in A1368. As advised elsewhere maybe be best to contact the RC Diocese who own/manage the cemetery who might have access to more detailed maps.

Sorry,
I checked the grave & there is only one baby girl + adults & baby boys.

Roseanna Hunt, died Royal Liverpool children's hospital aged 8 months. interred 8/4/1950.

As Blue said, my map also doesn't have an A portion[1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, ]; and as it is public there probably aren't headstones which could identify the date.
