Daniel Charley
« on: Friday 21 June 13 11:50 BST (UK) »
My great-grandfather, Daniel Charley was married on 2nd June 1866 to Margaret Neil. It is given that he was a widower at this time. Would anyone have information about a prior marriage of Daniel, and children from this earlier marriage? Daniel was born probably in Killorglin in 1820, and Margaret probably in 1840 in Lissavane. We understand that Julia was the only issue of Daniel's second marriage, but it seems that she may have had siblings - presumably from the first marriage.

The 1866 marriage took place in County Kerry as did Julia's birth- is there a reason you've posted this in MONAGHAN?

Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
