You  might be interested to know that my ancestors were Chetwoods/Chatwoods of Ellerdine Heath, neighbours of the Wellings', and descendants of a lateral ancestor (now in USA) have a William Wellings watch (not working these days) that was a parting gift for the Chetwood family who emigrated in 1849!

Further to above post, the watch was made at Oakgate (now a plant nursery) at Ellerdine Heath,
