Thank you so much Heather for the Baptisms and the  1861 Census that was extremely kind of you.
My Mary was definitely born in Manchester and its been a long struggle to find her correct spouse as both these two had listed the same named father's. Two others had differently named fathers and one turned out to be too young. However I found the marriage details and she did marry John Blakely. But possibly that's still as far as I can trace her from her marriage and between 1861-1881. I will keep at it for a while longer, but I do thank you and Drop Bear so much for helping me.

Thank you again,
Kind regards,
PK2

Dear Heather

A very big thank you and yes I am pretty sure that is my Mary and I am so happy that there was a good outcome for her as I was beginning to think that something awful had happened to her! I was a bit premature in saying this was Completed and apologies to Sarah! I would like any additional details if its not too much trouble. The address would be very interesting to me if its readable.

You know I have been trying to track her for ages and kept putting it in the too hard basket but in the space of a week, and thanks to you and Drop Bear I now have her and her family, so that is so wonderful. THANK YOU.
Kindest regards,
Pat
ps Heather I have also found her on the 1861 under this name Thank you again.
Pat

Hi

The address looks like
21 Caton street,
It's in Medlock Street ward
Hulme
Manchester

If you 'google' Caton Street, Manchester, there are some interesting links. part of the street was bombed during WW2

Dear Heather

Thank you so much for the Caton Street and its history in the War, also for the registrations and the marriage of Isabella. It was indexed also on Free Reg, but its nice to see the original so I will use Family Search as you suggested. Also for the 1871 additional details I was sorry to see young Ada working as a servant in the 1881 at the age of 11. I think I may have found a death reg. for her mother prior to this census, so that's probably why. So sad that she was put to work. Family history can be so reflective on the life and times of the era and it makes me feel for them. She should have been still playing with her dolls!
I have a lot of work to do to confirm this family's history and I really appreciate your input. So a big thank you for getting me started on the right track.
Kindest regards,
Pat
