Nice to meet a relative!  ;D  We must be related at least two or three generations back from your William as I can't find him in my tree - who was his father, do you know?

It might be better to start a new topic for your family, I can't really help you with your lot but a new topic should bring lots of information your way.

I haven't got back any further than 1841 Census for William as I was doing most of the work on James, so perhaps we may be distantly related there.  I will post a new topic as you suggest.
