I have relatives that lived in the Ahascragh area and it is very near the Roscommon border although in Galway. The river Suck is the main boundary between the counties in the area. For some families the parish they lived in determined the county of allegiance regardless of civil border!Possible marriage of Michael KELLY and Anne LEONARD in Ballinasloe district in 1872There was one Delia KELLY birth between 1872 and 1877 however there were several births in Ballinasloe of Bridget KELLYs;Delia was the pet name for Bridget.Unfortunately without the mother’s maiden name to go on you can only break down this list furtherby ruling out some by deaths or 1901 census records and buying the remainder to get the correct one.Possible census return for Michael and Anne in 1901 in Clonbrock. There is a transcription error in the place name. The area is Clooncannon (Dillon), Dillon being the name of the local landlord.By 1911, Anne is widowed and still in Clooncannon (Dillon) (Clonbrock, Galway) .She describes herself as married 38 years which ties in with the 1872 marriage. She also states that she had 10 children of which 8 were still living. There are 4 listed with her in 1911 and 5 in 1901 which leaves 3 other children unaccounted for.I think there is a good chance that this is the correct family but obviously proof is requiredDILLON was a popular name in the area and many Irish married people from close to their original homes These are the results searching for Patrick DILLON from 1869 to 1875 in that area but you would need parents names for confirmation Hope this start helps your searching.
