As a follow-up to our Holloway Happenings, I remember posting a piece on a London mailing list with the subject called
"The Iceman & The Flower Lady".
Without repeating the full story, the first paragraph went like this:
- It was a far cry from the "penny for the gas meter
on Marlborough Road, but one warm memory after my arrival in Canada was going for a ride with the local iceman while he delivered blocks of ice from house to house.
Or do you remember the clip clop as the rag and bone man travelled down some long forgotten cobbled lane in
