Hi all,

Hoping you can help, I`m trying to trace the Father and Mother , Grandad and Grandmother of Thomas Birch.
Thomas was born in Liverpool around 1898, he married Jessie Burns in Walton in 1922 and died in 1973

Kind regards,

Did Thomas have a middle name?

I can find (on FreeBMD):
1897   Thomas John Birch       West Derby district
1897   Thomas Alfred Birch      West Derby district
1897   Thomas Birch                West Derby
1897   Thomas Henry Birch       Toxteth Park
1898   Thomas William Birch      West Derby
1898   Thomas Benjamin Birch   Liverpool

Of course, his father's name will be on his Marriage Certificate! ;D

I think that you really need the marriage certificate to establish who his father is.

I agree with Rosie!

Documentary evidence of his father's name is essential at this point - else we could be chasing the wrong family! ;D ::)
