Hoping you can help, I`m trying to trace the Father and Mother , Grandad and Grandmother of Thomas Birch.
Thomas was born in Liverpool around 1898, he married Jessie Burns in Walton in 1922 and died in 1973

I think that you really need the marriage certificate to establish who his father is.

Documentary evidence of his father's name is essential at this point - else we could be chasing the wrong family!
