Sorry we are not allowed to do 1911 lookups due to copyright. These hints might help.

If you use those hints there are two other people who come up in the same district as she does on http://www.1911census.co.uk/

Maud Ann Ellis born 1887
William Henry Mandeville Ellis born 1875

You need to buy credits to see the full details and to check they are the correct people.

Sheila Lavinia Ellis also shows up when you search the census record collections on familysearch.org - I couldn't seem to find her parents, just her. And you still need to pay to see the actual census image.

Hi there.
You may want to look at The London Gazette for 28.5.1940 where William Henry Mandeville Ellis 's notice of death and will is posted. He died 30.10.1939 in Mirimar Alverstock Hamps formerly of Chester hill Belford Northumberland. It is free online.
He is also a temporary sub- lieutenant in the royal navy 21.12.1915 on there.
Apparently he was born in Dublin and married at Alcester 28.6.1908 Maud Ann Cheape, born Leslie Fife.

If William H M Ellis is your man you might care to order his naval service records (2 No.) from the NA (£3.36 each) http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/SearchUI/s/res?discoveryCustomSearch=true&_fn=william&_ln=ellis&_no=&_q=&_ser=ADM+337&_col=online&_dt=RV&image1.x=37&image1.y=19 . Neither is likely to have any family information, but it might help place him at a particular time. As an example his WW1 medals were sent to the RNVR base outside Edinburgh.

Thanks everyone for the info. I have found a marriage I think is hers to George Colchester who I think is Major in the Royal Artillery DSO but I have not found any children for them. Would like to find some if there were any.
