Book The south African Nation
« on: Wednesday 05 June 13 05:38 BST (UK) »
Hi all

My ancestor Cecil Howard Beaumont Thomas is apparently mentioned in the book The South African Nation on page 993 (I obtained this info from a Google search for his name).
Does anyone know if this book is accessible online please?

Kind regards

The book is actually called The Family Register of the South African Nation but I can't see it available online.

It looks as though Cecil Howard BeaumontThomas appears on an Ancestry/Mundia family tree but perhaps you've already seen this - if it's not your own tree then it would probably be worthy trying to contact the owner to exchange family notes.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Try this link http://www.bookfinder.com/ I typed in the family register of the South African nation in the Title box enter and then clicked on the name displayed and 9 books appeared for sale. Author is D.F. Du T. MALHERBE

Thank you both for the information. I have seen the info on the Mundia site but I was just a bit intrigued when I saw the reference to the book.
I've checked out the link Derek, unfortunately the cheapest copy is way out of my league 696 Malaysian Ringgit is over 2000 SA Rand. I'm not even sure what information it would likely contain.

Perhaps someone who is in possession of the book wouldn't mind looking up the page for me please.
