Re marriage of Pierce Ryan and Margaret Ahern - they were married in Kerry in 1894 but the church record at irishgenealogy.ie staes that Pierce O'Ryan was living in Scartaglin Kerry at the time.Father Patrick O'Ryan Mother Mary O Brien Margaret Ahern appears from this record to be from Magh in Kerry and not from Tipperary

There is an entry for this marriage in the civil marriage index - Tralee registration district 1894 quarter Oct Dec Vol 5 page 313. If you get the marriage cert this will give Pierce's occupation which may help to confirm if it is the correct person.
Looked at the census 1901 and found them in Drishane in Cork - Margaret's birthplace given as Kerry. Pierce born Australia occupation RIC Constable

HELLO,

This Margaret Heffernan was a brother to my great great grandfather James Heffernana of Glenough; Tipperary who married Joanna Stapleton - I have just finished a book on my family - the Heffernans, Danaghers, Dwyers, Scanlans, O'Keefes etc.

Kindest Regards,
Liam.
