Divorce proceedings in 1984
« on: Thursday 30 May 13 11:20 BST (UK) »
I am seeking information about a court case in Scotland in 1984.
I have all the references etc, and from my enquiries this would have been
a matrimonial dispute.
Is it possible to obtain any info from the Scottish Records office or is it permissible
for a person to attend in person to obtain details.
I believe this record is open, but whether this means open to enquiry, I do not know.
I would be gratful for any help or suggestions.
Many thanks,
Ian

GRO New Register House, Edinburgh holds Divorce Records you will have to attend to see these. Take a look at the list of files held at:-

Hi Ian,

If you PM me the details,mI will check the catalogue at the NAS. It will give reference number and you can either go personally or make other arrangements to get a copy.
