Looking Vancouver family of Hector b. 1867 and Margaret Montgomery (nee Blair)

Hector b. Feb 9, 1867 left Broughshane, co Antrim, Ireland and m. June 21, 1888 in Vancouver. Sons John Blair Montgomery b.Feb 14, 1899 d.in 1st WW 11th Batt Canadian garrison Reg in 1918, Samuel Smith Montgomery b. Feb 1, 1891 47th Batt Canadian Infantry d. 1955, James Blair Montgomery b. 1893, Arnold Montgomery b. 1897 and d. 1900, Harold Montgomery b.1899 and d.1943, Robert Alexander Loutitt Montgomery b. 1914 and d. c. 1996. All buried Vancouver Mountain View Cemetery. Where are the Montgomerys now? Somebody must know them!

Have you contacted the Vancouver Public Library (providing dates and as much info as possible) to see if you can locate obituaries which may give further details of there families. They are usually very accomodating  ???

 Robert Alexander Loutitt Montgomery b. 1914 and d. c. 1996.

According to British Columbia death registrations - Robert Alexander Loutitt Montgomery  died 13 Feb 1914 aged 18 years.

If you look at Samuel's death certificate the informant is his aunt. So there must also have been other Montgomery's in BC. Did Hector have brothers that also came to Canada?

Samuel's death certificate also states that he is divorced, here is the link to his marriage in 1908:

James Blair Montgomery - 3 Nov 1893 - Died 26 March 1950 Los Angeles. California.
Mothers Maiden name :- Blair Father :- Montgomery.

Los Angeles, California in 1920 shows James with wife and children.

James B Montgomery 37 Born Canada. Immigrated 1920. PA.  Married at 27 years. Engineer.
Anna Montgomery 32 Born Canada. Married at 22 years.
Norman B Montgomery 7 Born California.
Robert B Montgomery 4 Born California.

Son - Norman Blair Montgomery. Born 10 Mar 1923 Died 23 Oct 2010.
Last Residence 92308  Apple Valley, San Bernardino, California.
