I'm looking for the marriage of Thomas Knight and Mary Chapman which I believe was in Narborough Leicestershire  about 1771....I'm hoping it will state where they were both born.

If anyone can help It would be much appreciated xx

Hi,
familysearch.org lists Thomas KNIGHT marrying Mary CHAPMAN at (All Saints) Narborough, Leicestershire on 12th June 1771.
It was not normal to record parents' names, at this time, only the full names of the groom, bride, and the date of the marriage.
You could perhaps try contacting the Leicestershire & Rutland Family History Society who may be able to do a lookup for you of the actual entry from the parish register:-

I've checked my CD of Narborough CMB and it gives the marriage date as 12 June 1771, but unfortunately no other details. On other marriages, it does say the place they lived if it was Narborough, so it would appear that they both lived in Narborough at the time of their marriage.

Thank you
I've seen on some family trees that Thomas was born Husbands Bosworth and his father was Daniel Knight and Mary born Kilby but their marriage says they are both living in Narborough.

I have found lots of Knights in Narborough and not sure if Husbands Bosworth is correct.

I found a Thomas Knight born 1746 Narborough and a Mary Chapman 1748 Desford......this seems more likely to me.

Hi Swampinstein

I have found a Thomas Knight christened in Narborough on 2 Jan 1746. His parents were Edward Knight and Margaret. There is also a William c 17 May 1737, Edward c 14 Feb 1741 and Ann c 8 July 1744, all in Narborough with parents Edward and Margaret Knight. I've looked for a marriage for Edward and Margaret in Narborough, but can't see anything.

Kind regards, Sam
