Family records show Charles Farmer Ingham 1737- 1813 from Stag Hall, Belturbet, Co. Caven and his family including Humphrey John Ingham (or simply John) 1782 - 1866. My first question is - if Belturbet is a town...what is Stag Hall? Charles married a Florence Veitch and his son Humphrey married a Mary Borbidge. I can't find information on either marriage...can anyone help?

on irish genealogy st pauls church of ireland dublin 10th november 1803 john ingham marriage to mary borbidge sorry no other details supplied, the name ingham seems to have been very common in dublin around that time. on the calendar of wills and administrations the only place that appears for the borbidge name 5 in wexford.

Re: Stag Hall - I did find a bed and breakfast in Belturbet called Stag Hall but the name also seemed to be part of the town...it's a puzzle!

Staghall seems to be an area just outside Belturbet. This looks like the same Ingham family-

Yes that's the history. Where do you find it as an area outside of the town?

You can also find it via Google Maps.

I've located some Ingham ancestors from Cavan and Fermanaugh in the Canada, British Regimental Registers of Srevice, 1756-1900. In particular, John, George and William. Can anyone tell me where I might find the Attestation forms?
