STURGIS Family in Leicestershire

Have been researching the STURGIS (or STURGESS) family in Leicestershire for some time, centred primarily around Great Bowden and East (Church) Langton and have come to a grinding halt before 1800 due to missing parish registers for Church Langton.

Does anyone else have similar interests that could plug some of my holes.

Hi , Have been researching my husband's BLAND family from Dingley and surrounding area.(v.close). Have ANN STURGIS born c.1802 marries ARTHUR BLAND c.1820. Ann's father was JUDD STURGIS (b.c.1776), and her mother was ELIZABETH BOWERS (b.1779 Ratcliffe Culey). Any help? Also, perhaps Market Harborough library service might be able to help?

my GG Great Uncle Joseph KEETLEY married  Alice Mary STURGIS { b 10.10.1820 Kegworth d June 1897 Kaiaipoi New Zealand}
Alice was the daughter of  James STURGIS  and Elizabeth COOPER. Don't know anymore than this about the STURGIS family but would be interested in more.
