Yorkshire air raid may 1941 - meeson and others

Trying to trace family members of airmen and volunteers killed in a raid on an airfield in Yorkshire 12 may 1941. Before I go any further is anyone able to say how you would find family members without access to military records. Two of the men were george balmorth from county mayo and hector meeson. One of the descendants of an airman had notification of a new memorial and other descendants are sought.

Son of Abel and Sarah J. C. Meeson of Bush Hill Park, Enfield.

Hector H Meeson Mothers Maiden Name = Jones
June qtr 1922   Edmonton 3a 1122

Freebmd shows 4 other births to parents between 1912-1926

His brother Douglas b 1926 died in 1983 Enfield
Brother John Richard b 1915 died 1987 Essex

Sister Doris E b 1912 died 1913

The remaining brother b 1918 married in Warwickshire in 1946, divorced and remarried in Manchester in 1953.  No death listed up to 2006 so his name cannot be shown here
