The Nicholas Farnan in Clinstown was my Great-Grandad. I'm not sure where he originated from but know that he was related to the Farnans in Knockroe.
…………………………………………………………………
He married Alice Donnelly of Clinstown in 1886. She died in October 1917.  They had one daughter only (Margaret, my grandmother, and she died in November 1971).

Nicholas FARNAN married Alice DONNELLY on 25 February 1886 at Connahy RC Church near Ballyragget, Co Kilkenny. He was living at Knockroe townland. Alice living at Clinstown townland.

Many thanks for the replies.

I'm trying to trace a Mary Farnan from Knockroe born in 1886 to John Farnan and Catherine Downey I believe. However she is not the Mary Farnan buried in Dunmore age 77 as she was 86 when she died and family believe she is buried in Thomastown.
So maybe she is not a daughter of John & Catherine???

If I understand correctly you are looking for the death and grave of Mary Farnan

Born 1886
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1886/02602/1960956.pdf

1911

Are you sure she never married or is this the same Mary who married Richard Walsh?

So the Mary Farnan 77 buried in Dunmore is a Mary Walsh nee ?. Yes?
But your looking for a Mary Walsh nee Farnan buried in Thomastown aged 86
Have you any idea when these women died? We might be able to find their death certs which might clear up which is yours.
