She was baptised in the parish of boylestone in derbyshire. She was un-married according to family history that has been passed down. she had a son called john burn. our family name is bourne so i am assuming the surname they used was mis-spelt on documents ect. Any info would be appreciated. thanks carol x  :)

I'm amazed that I have come across this, I am Robert Hassell, great-great Grandson of Charles Hassell, Harry Hassell (the youngest of his children) was my great grandfather.

I was doing my family tree a few years back and hit a few brick walls along the way.

There is a lot of mystery over Charles Hassell (or should I say Hassall) and there is a little story that has been passed down the family and why he changed the spelling of his name in later life.

Does this mean I am related? ...I hope this thread is still active
