I'm having a similar problem to Lydiaann. Mullgenealogy.co.uk shows Malcolm McGilvray, 36, and all his family in Kilfnichen and Kilvickeon, Mull, Argyll in 1871, but I can't find any of them on Ancestry.

Just looked. Try Malcolm MacGilway. All the rest of family are recorded under the correct surname.
William
Dent (Haltwhistle and Sacriston), Bell and Jetson (Haltwhistle), Postle, Ward, Longstaff, Purvis, Manners, Parnaby and Hardy (Co. Durham), Kennedy and McRobert (Banffshire), Reid(Bathgate), Watson (Wemyss), Graham (Libberton), Sandilands (Carmichael), Munro (Dingwall)
