Having just escaped from hospital after abdo surgery, I don't know if I will be physically able to make the journey, as I am supposed to take it easy for at least 6 weeks.  But if I am anywhere near able to travel (by train, etc) by then, I would like to included as a possibility.  BTW, I grew up in Cessnock, and have been to the sailing club many years ago.

Well it certainly couldn't be closer to home for me, downhill to get there and just a short, lung bursting walk up a steep hill to home. 

Having said that it is years since I have been inside the 16's so who is going to sign us all in as visitors? You Neil?
I think you had better count me in.

If anybody needs a lift from or to a railway/bus station I can do it.

Hi Cris. If you live further than 5 kms from the 16 Footers you can be signed in as a visitor.

Hmm well if it's a short gut busting walk up a hill  for Cris I know the hill and she is only less than a kilometer from 16's. I can probably save you the busted GUT on the way back.

There's a very appropriately named street just up from 16's.

Yeah lived on that one Neil for 35 years then moved over the back fence 13 years ago.

I've been walking that hill for many years but the dog and I are slowing down at the same pace - both going in the back legs.
