Hi cathy, that is interesting because William Weston was a railway porter. I know he was a porter before prison and in his later life though so not sure if it is the same man because I'm not sure if the railway would employ him again would they???
This is very interesting and I need to do more digging. He would be about 24 in 1901 though not 33 but I can't imagine there being 2 William westons in Hastings who were both porters!
Thank you
