Jemima and Isabella Telford

There is a marriage in Liverpool - May 1839 - between William Telford and Margaret Johnson.

Both fathers named James.  Her father co-incidentally was a shoemaker like William.  Perhaps worked together?

Elizabeth Telford 1 yr b England

The entry above is for James and Margaret Telford, both 50 yrs also born Scotland. I believe that these are William's parents.

In 1851, James snr is a gardener which I think William's father was on his marriage.

In 1861, Mary A Telford (William and Margaret's daughter) is living there.

Isabella Talford 18 yrs born England is a house servant in the Lemon family household in Douglas

Interesting that Isabella's husband Edward Faragher/ Fargher is from the Isle of Man also.

In the 1861 census he is lodging in Bolton, listed as Farragher POB Douglas, Isle of Man: -

I wonder how Isabella ended up marrying in Bolton then in 1862?

There are Telfords about but all different occupations.

Yes I saw Jemima and Rechab in 1871.
Also wondered re Bolton.

It would be interesting to see who Jemima's father and his occupation on marriage.
