In what context is it listed on Ancestry?

If it's to do with probate / letters of administration, maybe it means she is confirmed as the executor / administrator of his estate?   What year was it?

Dawn M

It is in the Wills and Probate listing, Dawn, and it is 1946. It is the only time I can find any reference beyond his birth cert on ScotlandsPeople or Ancestry to him.

Born in Edinburgh ± 1885 so have access to his birth cert.
