Rouse/Rowse Family

Looking for info re John Rouse/Rowse who married Catherine Duncalf in 1814 in Devon (probably in Plymouth). Would appreciate it if someone would check both the Peters book "A Rouse Family in Devon" and the book by Street "A Genealogy of the Rouses of Devon and Cornwall" for me to see if John and Catherine are mentioned. John and Catherine had at least four children I am aware of - Catherine born 1818 in Devon and married in 1839 to Emmanuel Damerell (they emigrated to USA about 1848); John; Mary born 1821 and married in 1844 to George Hicks Hancock; Henry. I think all four children were born in Plymouth but don't have documentation. The only other info I have on John Rouse is from the LDS FamilySearch "England, Plymouth and West Devon, Parish Registers, 1538-1912" which lists burial date of John Rowse in 1841 at age 61, but not sure if this is my John Rouse.

Don't have access to the publications you mention -but wondered if this information could help in some way and if it could be your family in 1841 census (ages of adults 15 plus yrs are rounded down to the nearest 5 years)

1851 Census Catherine ROWN (Rowse) is born c 1790, Plymo, Devon (still at same address as 1841, No 17 Gushing St))

Catherine DUNCALF married John ROWSE at Plymouth Charles 1 Nov 1814. She was baptised at Plymouth Charles 16 Dec 1789, dau of Henry & Mary.
The John ROWSE buried in 1841 was buried at Plympton St Mary and was resident at Venton in that parish, so probably not yours. There was one buried at Plymouth St Andrew 9 Oct 1825.
John ROWSE was baptised at Plymouth St Andrew 1 Sep 1815, father John described as a cooper.
Catharine ROWSE was baptised at Plymouth St Andrew 25 Aug 1817, father John described as a cooper.
Mary ROWSE 22 Jul 1821 father John described as a cooper.
Henry Duncalf ROWSE wasn't baptised until 8 Apr 1834, said to be born 3 Sept 1824, address Gaskin Street, father a cooper.
