Thanks Steve,
I had thought about buying some of these CDs of areas where I have a lot of relatives. Have you found the CDs useful?
Thanks again for all your help.
Ann

If you find your rellies are centered in a certain area of Bucks, they are worth the money. One disc is just about more expensive then one cert.
In my experience, they are invaluable. Not only for direct rellies, but also those marrying into your 'blood line'.
Essentially, these CD's have saved me £100's in unwanted certs, together with using the BucksFHS, 'Church finder' facility, which covers 1837 - 1911.
I have uncovered births and deaths/burials of children, that occurred between the census, and most CD's go back to the 1530's, and up to 1901.
Check the BucksFHS web site, for what areas and years, are available on CD.
If you are interested in Princes Risborough, another area of interest will/may be Lacey Green, which covers 'Row', or Loosley Row as it's called. Lacey Green & Loosley Row inhabitants, used St Mary's. P.Risboro', for their bmd's, until they gained their own church in 1825, but some continued to use Princes Risborough, because of 'tradition', I suppose.
If you like having certs for all the b/m/d's, at least you'll have a better idea the correct certs to purchase.
So in short......you'll be nuts not to buy one.

Oh, and Saunderton is yet to published on CD, but they have it in their database, I think.
Steve.
